BEHOLD! What happens when Mr. L is up at midnight and has nothing to do!? Play in survival mode with characters he wants to have fun with, of course.

Description:
Today, I'm going with Sanada from Sengoku Basara X. This mother fucker is pretty fun, using only 3 attack buttons, one launcher button and a striker button. There is a 6th button he uses to activate his OHKO, in which he glows yellow for a set amount of time in which you have to do his OHKO command.

Gameplay:
Sanada, has basically one real gimmick, and that is to reel in his opponents with his standing C. After which, he is your bitch and you can do one of two things: Trip and do a special/super move or just do a special/super move. This all he pretty much has for him until you manage to do a "Counter" hit, in which there is enough hit stun for you to do his launcher in which you follow up with some air combos. Since this character is from SBX, he has a striker which appears when you either summon them, or you wait until your Level 100. If you summon them before level 100, you will only be able to use them once or twice, unlike when you reach 100 you can summon them about 4 times. Now with your striker, things become more fun. You can do his basic A, B, C combo and then follow up with your striker, dash and repeat. After you do this long combo, you could combo into his OHKO or maybe his QCF super. IT'S ALL UP TO YOU!


From playing with Sanada, I can safely say he is pretty damn good, but fails when it comes to zoners as he is an aggressive fighter who is only effective up close. The best he can do for when he is dealing with a zoner is to do his QCF super, but you can only do it for so long. He also lacks projectiles, so dealing with hadokens can be a pain. Also, alot of his specials require some charge time which can be a bitch to connect them or combo into them without your striker. How ever, this doesn't mean he's useless without it, Sanada is dangerous without him and is EVEN more dangerous with his striker.

How to fight:
For when fighting against Sanada, it's best just to deal with him with projectiles and zoning the shit out of him while being able to take him out before his striker comes by. Also, be sure you don't hit him as he's about to hit you. You'll "Clash" with him and this will probably screw you over more than it does him, thanks for his counter hit. Also, beware his QCF super, it doesn't look that dangerous, but one mistake and he has you in it.

Has alot of combo potential, but need a bit of setting up, which is kind of situational.
Great for being aggresive, horrible for zoning or being a turtle with.
Has pretty boring combos until his partner appears.
Needs to rely less on his partner.
